Medical matters
A rainy day in Edinburgh gives me time to catch up with my blog and plan for a busy few days coming up.
I spent the day on Wednesday giving a tour for Michael, Jennifer, Matthew and Bunty, 4 doctors from England. The weather was extremely kind to us and we enjoyed warm Autumn sunshine. Nature's birthday present to me perhaps? the tour focused on Edinburgh's medical history and featured grave robbers, public hangings and their contribution to Medical Science, watch towers, mort safes, the homes of famous physicians and the like. We also took in the Medical school and the Pathology Museum at the Surgeons Hall. All in all a very satisfying day. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the fabulous Chinese dinner which you provided that evening. Many thanks, Bill
