About Edinburgh
Capital City of Scotland and often described as 'The Athens of the North', Edinburgh is a magical combination of stunning architecture and landscape. A long history, a wealth of good eating, drinking, entertainment. Festivals, castles, a palace and cathedrals. Abbeys, haunted places, art galleries and museums. Secret places where you will feel that you are not in a city at all. Quaint pubs where you can hear traditional music in the company of friendly locals.
Bill will introduce you to all of this. But be warned, you do not see all of Edinburgh in a single visit. We have a 5,000 year history so there are lots to see and do. However, from A to Z, Abbey to Zoo, Bill will ensure that what you want to do is feasible in the time available to you.

Most people will wish to see Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyrood House. It takes the best part of a day to do this, so if you only have one day to spend in Edinburgh, then you can do this without Bill by taking one of the open top bus tours. Whether you will be staying in one of the City's many friendly guest houses, or excellent hotels, Bill will meet you at your accommodation or at a mutually agreed rendezvous.
Bill offers Day Tours, Half Day Tours and Evening Tours. Bill will discuss your interests and timings to ensure that you get the most out of whatever tour you choose. Day excursions can also be organised with the client hiring a self drive car and Bill joining the party.

There will be plenty of opportunities for taking pictures, so be sure to bring the camera. Remember, however that this is your holiday and, by the time you reach Edinburgh, Bill will have used email to build up a profile of you so that the experience is enjoyable and customised especially for you.
